Established in 1920, Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service is a full-service funeral home offering funeral and cremation options. Our beautiful, warm and welcoming facility features 2 large visitation rooms and a lovely chapel that comfortably seats 225 guests.

Evergreen Memorial Gardens

The beautiful Evergreen Memorial Gardens was founded in 1951 and features the only community mausoleum complex in the Wilson area. A wide range of burial options is available throughout the 30 acres, from traditional ground burial to private family mausoleums. There are a variety of columbaria and several other memorialization options for those who choose cremation.

One of our memorial park's most notable features is its striking chime tower. The spacious cemetery is enhanced by our well-manicured landscaping and the many individual gardens and unique features found throughout the area.

Evergreen Memorial Gardens is a perpetual care cemetery with lawns that will remain maintained and protected for generations.

History

Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service opened to the Wilson community in 1920. Through the years, families have received our compassion, kindness, professionalism and dignity. In 1952, the Watson family opened Evergreen Memorial Park, the only perpetual care cemetery in Wilson County, serving families at their time of need. The associates at both the funeral home and cemetery are part of the Wilson community, committed to providing a level of service beyond your expectations, with the compassion and respect that all families deserve.
